Worcester Mexican

I noticed a long lasting thread on this topic that seems to have died out sometime last year. I'm moving back to worcester MA after about a 2 year absence. Mexican food is a passion. Past postings have commented on Tortilla Sam's and Moes in the area. In towards Boston, Sol Azteca in Newton and Boston have been mentioned. I'm familair with all these places. Sol Azteca is incredible. Moes is good, but has a limited menu and a fast food feel to it. Tortilla Sam's is ok but not great.

Forget about the the place in Auburn that shares space with Pete's Steak House. I would rather eat at Taco Bell( not really all that bad for fast food).

Does anyone know any places in and around Worcester that have a good tamale or some good mole sauce?

  1. Tacos Parilla Mexicana on 138 Millbury St looks very authentic. Don't know about the mole, though.

I definitely agree with Parilla Mexicana. Their sopas are sooo good!

BTW, Moe's is NOT Mexican, and feels fast foodish because it is a chain.

Thanks all. Sounds like Tacos Parilla Mexicana is a must to try soon.

    2. Yep, Tacos Parilla Mexicana is excellent. Have yet to try the tamales but I've seen people eating them in the store and they look great.
