Mucho Mas - Islington, London

Nii Jul 25, 2008 03:42 AM

This is a new Mexican burrito take away in Islington. I had the pleasure of trying it out last night and I was suitably impressed, while I'm no expert on Mexican food - all the ingredients in my pork burrito were fresh and tasty. I had the pork with all the trimmings (guacomole, beans, lettuce, tomatoes rice and hot sauce) and at £4.00, it was a very cheap meal.

Has anyone else been there?

I have been there twice over the past few months -- the burrito's are pretty good based upon what have seen of London mexican. (Just moved from Boston where there are many fantastic, quick, cheap and good burrito places.) Any other suggestion for a London burrito would be great!

El Burrito on Charlotte Place in Fitzrovia.
Mexicali on Berwick Street in Soho.
      Tortilla on Angel High Street.
Daddy Donkey in Leather Lane Market.

I also hear good reports of a place on Exmouth Market and Cheshire Street Market.
