McDonald's coffee on TV news

Wondered what people thought about this. Fake coffee on theorectically real news?

Basically, a Las Vegas station seems to have started the trend of having iced coffees sitting in front of anchor desks while they do "lighter" news. It is also happening in New York on Univsion, but I have not seen it personally. It is also being done in Chicago and Seattle.

    I hope they have beer on the desk when doing sports. :)

        Yep, it's been happening here in Atlanta with one of the morning news shows for the past year. For us it's WGCL-TV, CBS 46:
