New York Culinary Experience

Ouch. This is like a kid locked in a candy store. Except the candy is locked. What I mean is, I wish I could afford it. *sniff* But it's this or my new plasma HD flatscreen TV. Wow though look at the classes, the speakers, the chefs! Absolutely stunning!

Who's going to it? Anyone having a contest and giving away free tickets? (hint, hint, hint) :)

Btw, saw this here on CH. There's an ad often in the top right of the page lately.

I went to the first one, in 2002, and I have to say it was a first rate event. Worth EVERY penny. (The first one cost $1000) Real access to the speakers and chefs, besides learning at the seminar, and a goodie bag the contents of which were easily worth $300.

Not sure it would be giving up a new plasma tv for, but you would definitely get your money's worth, based on my experience.

I purchased a ticket - when I spoke to the organizers I got the impression that the classes were going to be very hands-on and very intimate (not more than 24 people per class). This is goin to be my big splurge for fall!

I keep clicking on the ad and dreaming about it. It's around the corner! It's a little pricey, but I am encouraged by Chef June's post. Hmmmmm. What to do.

I am surprised it's not sold out.
