bubble tea in edmonton
Is there anywhere good? I have had mediocre stuff at dream tea house (strathcona) and at a place in chinatown - 98 street i think. i drove by felici-tea in the west end yesterday and noticed it for the first time. they were advertising bubble tea, but i haven't heard of it. i also saw a place near or at chili hot hot downtown...advice?

I registered just to tell you about Dream Tea. I rarely get the tea drinks there though, instead I usually get one of their juices or smoothies. They use fresh fruit as much as possible, and it shows in putting their drinks head and shoulders above the rest. It's inconvenient when something isn't in season, but their dedication to quality is impressive.
The place by chili hot hot is long out of business - their bubble tea was also very good, but they management didn't seem interested in the business.
I only got Bubble King once - it was sickly sweet and I didn't like the artificial flavour. I didn't give it a second chance. Same problem at the one around 100st and 105ave. Stick to dream tea imo.

I really only frequent two places. The first place being inside of T&T Market (Bubble King) and Tea Cottage (on the edge of China Town). I have never enjoyed the tea at Dream Tea House, but somehow end up there at night on the rare occasion still.
