Good to Go in Croton

Marge Jul 24, 2008 10:07 AM

As a fan of the old Good to Go in White Plains, I was excited to see it open in Croton (at the old Jean-Jacques location). I am happy to report that it is as good as I remembered--delicious, fresh, inventive salads with homemade dressings, interesting sandwiches, and good hot dishes and daily specials. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. I highly recommend for a good (great) to go light meal or catering.

Thank you, Marge! I drive past this place every day and only just noticed yesterday that it wasn't actually Caruso's anymore. I'll be sure to give it a try. Do you know if they take credit cards?

Sorry, Marmite, I don't know if they take credit cards--but I 'assume' they do, because they do larger scale catering also.

Cool, glad to hear it! It wasn't Caruso's very long, I wonder what happened. There's still a Caruso's all boarded up in Ossining.

I just checked out their menu, looks really good......here's a link...http://www.allmenus.com/menus/1987/Go... This is acutally the WP menu but I assuming it's the same thing.

They were set up at the WP farmers market last week (salads, sandwiches, and chili), did not see them this week.
