Beard Papa's SD - National City
You can find Beard Papa's cream puffs in the new foodcourt at Westfield Plaza Bonita mall.
It was my job to pick up some desserts for some people visiting from out of town, and I thought this was a good time to give Beard Papa's a try. These are huge cream puffs filled (overly stuffed) with vanilla or chocolate cream. The vanilla cream was very light and the chocolate was alot sweeter. There was a comment made about the vanilla that you could taste the condensed milk.
Although I don't have a tremendous sweet tooth, but I wanted to give these cream puffs a try. They're not something I would keep going back for, but for you cream puff lovers out there, I just wanted to give you all a heads up!

Over the weekend Beard Papa's had three different creme puff flavors. They were strawberry, green tea, and vanilla. I was at the mall last night and this weeks offerings will be strawberry, coffee, and vanilla. The coffee had a nice mocha taste and not too sweet. The strawberry was is my favorite. Strawberries are mixed in with the light, creamy, fluffy filling. It had the perfect sweetness for me. The pastry shell itself was a lot tastier to me this time. They have a boba milk tea, and a green tea milk tea. The sample of the green tea milk tea was good, again not too sweet for me. They'll have a pumpkin creme puff in October/November for the season.

Per the Young Man running the booth - they have 2 flavors available each day. The vanilla and the "flavor of the day". On the day I went it was chocolate, but they do offer green tea.
