MSP - dog friendly places

Please let me know places to eat in the twin cities that welcome dogs. Better if they offer eats for my dog too. Patios are fine. St. Paul / SE metro is best. Thanks!

Minneapolis just became the first city in Minnesota to pass a Doggy Dining Ordinance - similar to Denver and other cities. www.sidewalkdog.com is putting together a list of restaurant venders that have signed up for the permit.

I was just at Picasso on St. Anthony Main. It has a Latin American influence and replaced Sophia's. They always have 2 water bowls out for the dogs.

I also just ate at Salut American on Grand for "Paws on Grand" and they were very accomodating for all the dog lovers.

Coffee Bene on Cleveland Ave in St. Paul (in Highland Park) has dog treats next to the milk and sugar and a water bowl at its back door. They make an excellent cappucino.

Moose & Sadies. Again, a restaurant named after a dog better let you have your dog on the patio. Best huevos in town...wash it down with a ginger limeade.

Pardon the interruption, but we've removed some posts about food you can buy for your dog and events you can attend with your dog. Please keep your replies in this thread focused on food for humans. Thank you.

The Bulldog NE is dog friendly. The waitress said it would be kind of bad form if they are named the Bulldog and don't let people bring their dogs. Good food and beer as well, for the people, not the dogs.

A little out of your way but Lucia's in uptown is very dog friendly, with very good, mostly locally sourced food.

in st paul i have seen doggie bowls outside of shish & next to conny's creamy cone lately

i will say that at the st paul farmer's market i've seen cops enforcing the no dog rule lately.

what does your dog like to eat?

Butter always has water dishes outside and doggie treats.

Sea Salt Eatery is also very dog friendly.

Birchwood is very dog-friendly for sidewalk dining. They always (well, almost always) have a full water dish out for the pups.
