Steak Escape

Just heard this has opened on Yonge Street, across the road from the Elgin. Has anyone heard of this place? I did look it up and it appears to be a US franchise.

Been to it in the states before. Nothing exceptional, franchises already here do sandwiches as good or better, and I would definitely say the fries at Charley's and other places are much better (not that I am endorsing theirs, just that I found Steak Escape to be akin to the boring coated fries of KFC/Taco Bell etc). If there are no other philly restaurants in the area and you have a craving, go for it, but I wouldn't make a special trip to go to one.

Thanks - I'd only just noticed it as I was looking for somewhere to eat before we went to the show. Guess we'll be stuck with Baton Rouge !!
