Dry-Farmed Tomatoes?

Do dry-farmed tomatoes exist in LA? I'm dreaming of Dirty Girl Farms' Early Girl tomatoes...

    Not sure dry farming is practical in SoCal on a commercial basis. Though there might be isolated microclimates where is would be practical.

    I love the popularity of Early Girl grown that way, in the face of the "heirloom cult".
