Converting slow-cooker recipe to standard method

Can slow cooker recipes be reliably made in the oven using a braising pot. What temperature should I use and how long to cook? I'm interested in making pulled pork. Here's the slow-cooker recipe that got my attention:

  1. You could by increasing the liquids 1/2-1 cup (vinegar if you want the tart/sour taste, stock if not) and cook covered at 325 degrees. Or you could use a similar recipe that's made for the oven.
