New to Philly, need recs for Thurs dinner

Hi hounders,

I'm very new to the Philly area (one week) and really looking forward to checking out all the great restaurants. We have a couple friends coming in town and are meeting up for dinner on Thursday. We live in CC, just west of Rittenhouse and they'll be staying at the Westin (17th and Chesnut-ish.) Where should we go??? The only hitch is we'll be bringing along our 6mo old daughter, so outside seating or "family friendly" would be ideal.

Pietro's is a good idea. If you go there, I recommend the pizza and salad (get one salad to share, they are huge). If you want to go a little more upscale, the Devon Seafood Grill would probably be reasonably family friendly, and better food ... you might want to check with the restaurant to see whether they have highchairs.
