Lemon Verbena sightings???

Anyone spot any verbena at the local Farmer's Markets this year? I gotta believe it's out there by now, but haven't seen it myself.
I am more than willing to go to Berkeley, Marin, SF, etc and a plain ol store is okay too.
Of course I need it by today/tomorrow....
May just go buy a plant, actually.

    1. I'd go to a nursery. Or the plant stand at the Saturday Berkeley farmers market.

Or the plant stand at Ferry Plaza.

          • Spotted some cut lemon verbena on Saturday at the Ferry Plaza Market at the stand in the front row of the back section, directly behind Sur La Table. It's the same place that sells the lavender and scented geraniums fresh and dried and in oils and salts.

                That's Eatwell Farm.

                • I'd buy a plant -- then you can stick it in a pot and have more later, or just have it around (it smells good). At the price of gas these days, I'd call the nurseries nearest my house and work outward.

                    1. Full Belly Farms has it at the Marin market on Thursdays, just have to get there before 10ish to get some. it's amazing, I made iced tea with it a few weeks back!

                        1. Thank you everyone!
I tried to buy it at Berkeley Hort., they were all out.
Next stop, Berkeley Tuesday FM, missed the last bunch within seconds!!! Grrrrrrrrr.
Will get to the Marin market early on Thursday, Full Belly's verbena smelled intoxicating as it walked away from my clutches...

If you are willing to travel slightly north of Berkeley send me an email. wallyeatsatyahoodotcom.

                              • Have you asked around among your co-workers or friends? Maybe someone you know has a plant.

                                  1. Hi! I am a student at the CIA and we have a booth at the St. Helena's farmer's market on Fridays. I will have Lemon Verbena tomorrow if you don't mind the drive!

Thank you so much! I finally found a plant at the nursery on the way to the Marin FM. I actually stopped there after hitting Full Belly and finding them once again, sold out.
The lemon verbena caramel came out fine, so I am happy and off the hunt for a while.
