Does anyone know of places (Bar/Restaurant) in Manhattan that will have a Sukkah this Oct. 2008?

Hi,

I'm new to Chowhound and have read some of the postings and figured this might be a good place to do some research. I am trying to put together a young professionals happy hour during Sukkot this year, falling in the second week of October, and thought it would be fun to find a restaurant or bar that will have a Sukkah up.

If anyone knows of places that have had sukkot up in the past, this would be helpful.

Thank you.

I'm almost positive Noah's Ark will have one. Maybe also post on the kosher board?

I did post on the kosher board, wanted to post on as many places as possible. Thank you for the suggestion.

A sukkah is one of the tent-like structures set up outside? I want to be sure I'm answering your question correctly. If so, many places on the UWS had them last year. I'm trying to think of names off hand (Darna I think; also the kebab place around 85th & Amst; Talia's).

You are spot on with your description. Thank you for the suggestions.

When the 2nd Ave Deli was on 2nd Ave and 10th they had one each year. If you call they should be able to tell you if they are going to do this somewhere around their new location.
