Birthday Dinner in Boston- Out of towner needs suggestions

Hoping for some help from you locals!!! My boyfriend and I are coming up to Boston this weekend for the Red Sox/Yankees' games. Yes, we are coming from NY, but we ARE Boston fans!!! Anyway, I am looking for a restaurant for Saturday night- it is my boyfriend's birthday. As I mentioned, we live in NY (Manhattan)...we don't need something tor overly romantic or trendy- the "latest and greatest"- we have that here.We just want something really great, authentic, and a good wine list. He loves seafood, and since I am vegan, we can usually settle on Italian, Asian or Mid Eastern.
Any suggestions are welcome- we'd like to stay in Boston proper.

Eastern Standard is good, but not sure re: vegan stuff on the menu. You could check them out online I bet though. It's near Fenway in Kenmore Square.
