Yogurtouille, San Mateo report
Yogurtouille is across the street from Draeger's in San Mateo. 407 South B. St @ 4th Ave.
Small shop that's self-serve, .35c an ounce. I asked at a cashier for sample cups and she gave me a bunch for me & my friends.
I tried Lychee, Pomegranate, Peach, & Original Tart. I think the original tart was good, others were ok. The key is to put the cup near the machine & don't pull to fast otherwise you'll make a huge mess.
One friend bought a cup, so I didn't feel bad that I didn't buy anything. Dang, those samples make you full!
Lots of toppings on the side of the store, but since I didn't buy anything didn't even bother to look.

I've been there twice now, and while I think I like the concept of self-serve, I like Yumi Yogurt (El Camino Real & 37th) better. They have more flavors, plus regular ice cream and smoothies. Yogurtouille is convenient to DT SM restaurants and theatres, which makes it popular for the after-dinner/movie crowd. I wouldn't drive there just for frozen yogurt, I'd rather just go to YY.

I went in the midst of the heat spell. I wish that they offered smaller cups, because the ones that they give you are huge. The self serve concept is interesting, but very easy to get way too much yogurt or make a mess. I liked the original tart and the lychee, which I had samples of, and got a swirl of the cheesecake and something else that I can't remember. Lots of fresh fruit toppings, as well as a number of different kinds of nuts, granola, etc.
