SF - Anyone tried Ducca's Wednesday $14 all-you-can-eat Italian BBQ (with beer)?
Got an email last week from a Chowhound alerting me to this after reading a report on Yelp.
Anyone tried it? The website doesn't mention it but Googling found another mention

If you go, hope you report back.Maybe getting there early is best as the second person had the anti-experience of the first yelper, but it was one of those yelp lousy service rants to the point they hated the food. The only thing the two of them agreed on was no one liked the octopus. The beer is Peroni draft.

hi there,
i called Ducca today and spoke to 2 different people who said the BBQ on Wednesday is _not_ all you can eat. So, for $14.00, you get one plate of BBQ and a Peroni. They don't take ressies and it's first come, first served.
apparently, it used to be all you can eat but that has been pulled. someone on yelp had a poor experience there - food swooped up as soon as it came out, empty kegs not being replenished quick enough, can't bring food inside when it's chilly, etc.

hey buddy.. i don't know where so many people got the idea that it's all you can eat.. it's not. it's a plate of veggies, fruit and some amazing meats (sausage, steak, octopus, chickeN) and comes with a beer. i repeat- not all you can eat!! quality food though!

It was all-you-can-eat the first week, on July 16. As noted above, they changed that before the second week.
