Private Event in MN

Greetings Chowhounders. I am looking for a space to host a private event (maybe 25 people) in Minneapolis or St. Paul. Any suggestions? My hope was a non-chain resturant that is easy to get to with ample parking and a private room for lunch....

I might suggest Il Vesco Vino off of Selby/Dale in Saint Paul. I talk about them alot because I dont think people have rediscovered it. Check out there website.

This isn't a restaurant, but rather a space. Create Dining Studio is run by Chef Philip Dorwart (from Tryg's, Table of Contents, etc). He and his staff could cater a delicious lunch, it's private, not a chain, and the space has plenty of parking.

2 crowd pleasing non chains in St Paul with nicer rooms.....

Both easy to get to from 94 or 35E and have dedicated parking lots.

The Lexington - old fashioned steaks & service to match. Good menu options & they do a ton of events in the room behind the bar.

The Downtowner Woodfire Grill - more of an updated menu. Great service etc. They have a nice sized room which I'm fairly certain can hold 25.

Bulldog NE has a nice, private backroom/bar that is perfect for a crowd that size - I had a work dinner event there and everyone liked it.
