Check to see if Jerusalem is still out in Bailey's Crossroads. They had a bakery next to the restaurant filled with trays of middle eastern pastries. Has been several years since I've been out that way, though.

I don't know if this is what you're referring to, but I was at Jerusalem Restaurant in Falls Church a few weeks ago and they had an impressive selection of pastries. It was not a separate bakery though.

What about Mediterranean Bakery in Alexandria?

There is one,don't remember the name,but it is patronised by the gulf embassies.
I would call one of them and ask.The few times I have tried ? pastries they were
excellent. ? somewhere in NOVA ?

if you're downtown, you might check out Couscous Cafe on 20th near M NW - although technically it's North African/Moroccan/Algerian.
