When in Old Montreal-try café santé veritas

naturelle Jul 21, 2008 01:10 PM

Café santé veritas has been mentioned in the Best Montreal Coffee thread. But I'd like to suggest this spot for breakfast and lunch, especially on a Saturday, when the place is quiet and Sam, the owner, takes the time to really find out whether the customers enjoy their meal. My "wrap de tofu à la tapenade d'olives" for 6,99$ was very tasty as was my son's "panini au poulet et au pesto rouge" for 7,99$ both with a salad. And, the capuccino, was indeed, special. We plan to go back to try one of their 9 salads--all under 10$.
