Argentine on Parc?

The wife and I made it to the Tam Tam yesterday. Nice crowd. We were pleasantly surprised to discover mock battles held a bit further back on the mountain - styro swords, duct-tape shields, rubber pointed lances, and knight costumes. Kinda weird...
Anyways, driving north on Parc, I noticed a place called (I think) Casa Gaucho, Argentine Grill. It was on the west side, north of Milos.
Has anyone tried this place?

I went a few weeks ago and was disappointed. Service was lacklustre (we waited several minutes before being greeted/getting menus in an empty restaurant), food was mediocre seeing as the meat was all over-cooked and therefore chewy. I won't be going back.

Overcooked is the way the Argentines eat their meat, so you got the authentic experience.

I think it is now called Grillades Gaucho. A friend went recekntly and said the steak was excellent. I wonder if others have tried it since your initial enquiry in 2008.

a friend of mine also had a good experience a few years ago but it is perpetually dead inside even on friday and saturday nights...it's one of those mystery businesses on that block.

Funny how this pops up 4 years 21 days after the fact.
Weirder still, we checked out Atelier d'Argentine last night. Didn't eat there - ended up at Bremmer - but I have a hankering for Argentine grill...
