upscale soul food? - in/around PVD

I'm trying to think of a restaurant that serves upscale soul food in or around Providence and NOTHING comes to mind right now... I know soul food isn't typically considered upscale but I guess I'm looking for a restaurant that caters to a more urban clientele...

Is this a lost market in area?

I would *love* to have a place like that in Providence.....plain ol soul food is hard enough to find. 20 yrs ago I recall going to a place down by RI Hospital, but that's about it.
