Where to buy great buttermilk?

I’m looking to buy great thick buttermilk, not reduced fat, where is the best place to buy it? I know some of the stands at the union sq. farmers market have some good buttermilk but those won’t be available to purchase until Wednesday and I want it sooner.

can you get PET brand milk in nyc? if so, they have full fat buttermilk. i've found it at certain grocery stores where i am but not sure where you could find it in nyc. maybe you could google pet and find out. it is VERY good and makes a huge difference in baked goods, etc. it's the kind of buttermilk i remember my grandma drinking when i was a kid. there's also a brand--sparkman's cream valley--that has full fat bmilk. they have a web site as well. good luck finding it!
