I just tried 'Only 8' frozen yogurt at Granny's in Smithtown and loved it. Does anyone know of other locations on Long Island that carry this product? Thanks!

I looked at the Only 8 website and found the ingredient list. What was missing from it was perhaps the single ingredient I'd expect to find in yogurt: milk!!!! What the heck?? The ingredients:
water, fructose, kosher whey, whey protein concentrate, maltodextrin, natural flavorings and stabilizers, calcium, active yogurt cultures.

Two points:
1) yes, I know that whey is derived from milk. It's used to produce ricotta and other products. But since when is it used for yogurt?
2) apparently, the name "Only 8" means "Only 8 ingredients." But how is "Natural flavorings and stabilizers" considered one ingredient? Isn't there basically a good part of a chemistry lab in that single listing?

The lack of milk may explain why I find the stuff unpalatable and I'm willing to put up with quite a bit for low cal/low fat frozen desserts. Simply 8 however is simply awful imo.

In their advertising, yes, they said "Only 8" means Only 8 ingredients, however, in their nutritional analysis, there is 32 calories in 1/2 cup (4 oz), therefore there is supposedly 8 calories per ounce. Perhaps they are fearful of lab testing that might uncover 9 or 10 calories per ounce.... (or 100 calories per ounce)

Be careful - on the nutritional info posted on the Only 8 website, 1/2 cup of their frozen yogurt (by volume) is 40 grams = 32 calories.

40 grams is only 1.4 ounces.

If you eat 4 ounces of this stuff, then you've just consumed about 91 calories, not 32.

Snow White and the Seven Flavors Ice Cream Parlor in Port Jefferson, NY...if you look closely at the Only 8 website, there is a photo in the "Success Stories" section that shows a huge line of customers: That was taken in front of this store - I am not sure why they do not list it as a location though....
