Best Dinner in Tacoma

Looking for a great spot for dinner next Sunday and Monday in Tacoma. Staying at the Hotel Murano. Breakfast and lunch recommendations also sought! We're in town to do the Museum of Glass and Art Museum.

  1. Great dinner spot in Tacoma that uses fresh, local ingredients...

The calamari appetizer is a must!

    1. For Dinner The Primo Grill is very good. Lately, Maxwell's has been very, very impressive. (Sixth and St. Helens.) Breakfast: The Southern Kitchen at Sixth & Division. Lunch: The Pick Quik in Fife will win your heart.

      1. Get yourselves over to Maxwell's, which is just a couple blocks north of the hotel. The chef, Matt Colony, [late of the Beach House & Pacific Grill], has been playing with the menu and has many treats in store. Truly fine meals are coming out of that kitchen - and it doesn't hurt that the room is terrifically inviting as well.

And while there's a number of inviting view spots down on Ruston, don't bother if you're looking for a fabulous meal.

        1. BurbankSunflower, The suggestions listed are excellent. DO NOT eat at the Hotel Murano.

          1. I hear nothing but raves about Maxwell's. Fine dining. For lunch, we always love The Spar. Soups are great and I LOVE the Spar chips!
