My Texan neighbors are looking for Ranch Style Beans in a can with a black label. Has anyone seen these in Baltimore?

  1. Send them to the new Harris Teeter in the Village of King's Contrivance in Columbia, MD. They have both the small and large cans in the original recipe. As far as I know, it is the only store in the area that has them. Appetite Pleasin'!

    1. Let your neighbors know that Harris Teeter also has Wolf Brand Chili in several different varieties as well. It's not my cup of tea, but I know many Texans grew up on it.

Wow! How long has it been since I've had a can of Wolf brand chili? Well that's too long.

That and Ranch Style beans? They had better get that Locust Point Harris Teeter open soon.

      2. Ranch Style Beans Brand w/ black label: You can order them from Asianfoodcompany.com. They have the originals and every other variety you could want..12 cans for $30 and that includes shipping and.they also have Wolf Brand Chili.

I am from Alaska originally and now live in Delaware where I can't find these wonderful beans (no Harris Teeter handy, either) so when I go home to visit I stock up. The last time my suitcase was over the weight limit with them so, in the middle of the check-in line I had to transfer about 5 cans to my other suitcase...my husband had a good laugh.

My best friend in Alaska sent me a care package of 2 HUGE cans that she found at Costco in Anchorage but they don't carry them at the DE stores, alas.

You can get them at Fredmeyer stores in the Pacific NW and online, but not all varieties.
