Seattle Bars and cheap eats
Going to Seattle in a bit and I am looking for a nice bar, not too trendy preferably near the westin (1900 5th Av) that would be nice to have a drink in.
Also any recs for cheap eats that are delicious? Overall i'm just looking for fun and funky places to go.
Thanks!

Entre Nous (little French hole in the wall) is right up the street and has excellent food. Brasa is just a few blocks away - HH 5-7 M-F with 1/2 price bar food - I had a great $7.50 steak frites last week! Also, Olivers - the bar in the Mayflower Park hotel has very nice drinks and free HH food. YUM.

You're close to tons of good bars in Belltown! I'd do a search on Belltown Happy Hour for a good list. Barolo is basically across the street from you and have an amazing HH. Pretty expensive restaurant but HH prices are reasonable. If you're there on Monday, check out Dragonfish for their all day HH. Umi Sake bar in Belltown is good for HH food specials. Icon Grill should be pretty funky but I've never been so can't comment on the quality of food/drinks. For cheap eats, check out Saley (amazing crepes), walkable from the Westin.

re: meggersLS
Icon Grill has a corporate, normally-located-near-a-mall feel to it, not at all funky.
For a nice bar, I would head to Zig Zag - just west of the Pike Place Market. Another option would be the newly remodeled Virginia Inn. I had lunch there recently and, while the food was not good, the bar looked quite nice. For that matter, there's Le Pichet next door. Or Chez Shea - although I haven't been to the bar there in quite some time. A little farther South on 1st is Union, whose bar I love to sit in.
