DH absolutely adores Sweetbreads, anybody have any suggestions where they might be served for lunch or dinner in LA/Santa Monica Area???
I searched the board, but pretty much only old posts about it....

have you tried Marche Moderne in OC at the south coast plaza? I had it last week for the first time and it was very good.

      2. They're sometimes on special at Orris.

where would I be without you wolfe?! Guess I need some lessons in searching, thanx for pointing it out! :)

          2. I had great sweetbreads (as an appetizer) at Anisette.

            1. Last time I had them, deep fried, at Comma Ca, that was more than a month ago, so you might want to double chek :>

                1. On the menu at Musso & Frank Grill in Hollywood.

                  1. I just had a great one at Sona last night ;)

                    1. The flatiron steak comes with sweetbreads nuggets at Animal on Fairfax. Tasty. Went there two weeks ago with the bf and a college buddy, and the buddy and I flipped a coin for the last nugget.

                      1. They are on the menu as an appetizer at the Cafe Bizou in Sherman Oaks and Pasadena. They're lightly sautéed and served over a crispy potato galette with a balsamic reduction. I get it every time I go. Damn it... now I have to go there tomorrow.
