Fort Collins - Good for Chowhounds?

aurora50 Jul 18, 2008 04:26 PM

Hi everyone. My sister and I are exploring different options for moving (in the future) from our place in the greater Los Angeles area. I've started a Northwest thread asking about Washington and Oregon chowhound-wise, but we are also considering Colorado. We've read where Fort Collins is one of the very best places in the United States to live, is it also good for eats? Anyone have any general observations about Colorado vs. the Washington/Oregon area?
Thanks everyone!

I don't really know much about the Chow options in Ft. Collins but you might also consider the Boulder area which does have some really good chow options.

There have been several Fort Collins threads w/ specifics. In general, where in Wash or Ore? Is Fort Collins on a par with Seattle or Portland? Probably not. With Spokane, Walla Walla, Pendleton or Bend? Probably.
