Sushi in Long Beach?

Does anyone know of any good sushi places in Long Beach. I'm looking to go tonight and not sure where to try. Thanks!

I have been to Koi and Sushi Studio.

I still prefer Aki on 7th and Redondo...

Agreed on Sushi of Naples, total train wreck.

Sushi Studio on PCH is my favorite. But, it's mostly inventive rolls that have things like tempura, mango, peppers, and other things that make for interesting flavors. I know they have sashimi, but I haven't tried it. Everything has always been fresh, and the prices are low. $6-13 per order.

I agree that SS has some interesting rolls, but the biggest disadvantage is that the fish is precut. I prefer my fish cut to order.

I agree with the earlier post: Koi, in Seal Beach, is the best. A second choice would be Sushi of Naples. Koi is only a few minutes away from Naples, so keep driving if you have the time.

The one time I went to Sushi of Naples was the last time. Run of the mill w/out the variety that Koi has, nor the freshness. If you must do sushi in Long Beach, then I would opt for Aki on 7th or possibly the one next to Bono's, but I haven't been there myself. Some friends said they like it, but I have not eaten sushi w/them, so I take their advice w/a grain of salt.

Just outside of Long Beach is Restaurant Koi on PCH in Seal Beach, before Main. Sit at the bar and you will be treated to the best, freshest and more variety than most all the others in Long Beach.
