Anyone been to Tria recently and if so how was it? Coming to town first weekend in August and looking for a place for lunch. Thanks.

  1. It's absolutely wonderful (well maybe not the dessert). The truffled egg toast and duck salads were great. The bread pudding (even though I ate it all) was a bit too odd for me...the flavors did not seem to jive. Get there early (if you hit the one near Rittenhouse) because it is filled up by 12:30.

    1. It is a wonderful place. Although I have never been there for lunch, it does get very crowded at dinner time. I dont like crowds so I rarely go there anymore unless I can get a table outside. Any and all of their salads are perfect.

      1. I was just there for lunch last week and it was as good as ever. I have never had a problem getting a table right away at lunchtime. I tried the smoked salmon salad for the first time. It was good, but not as good as the duck salad. They had a terrific fresh fig special, and the mushroom bruschetta was to die for. Tria is a great choice. Have fun!

        1. I like Tria for lunch. The sandwiches are a good value at around $8 and they come with a small salad. I really like the artichoke and pepper panino. I've also tried the brushetta, a good appetizer for one person (too small to share). My only complaint with the place is it's noisy.

          1. One of my favorite places to get a light bite, enjoy an excellent glass of wine/beer. Perfect place for lunch.
The truffled egg toast....my guilty pleasure...it's awesome.
Mixed Greens with Mission Figs, Gorgonzola, Pine Nuts and Gorgonzola-Pine Nut Vinaigrette....love it.
Wild Mushrooms with Grana Padano, Fontina, Baby Spinach and Lemon-Infused Olive Oil Panino...love it.

Tria's a fantastic light bite. I can make a meal out of all the brushetta varieties - they're all so different and tasty. The sandwiches are really fresh as well.
