Best bratwurst rolls in Sheboygan

NYChristopher Jul 18, 2008 07:17 AM

For all the talk on Chowhound about the best bratwurst in southeast Wisconsin, I'm surprised no one addressed the subject of "best rolls."

So, whose got 'em (and can you get 'em in Milwaukee, or is a trip required)?

(BTW: I'll be visiting Milwaukee in a week, that's why I'm asking about the the availability there.)

The classic roll used for a brat is a semmel roll. You can get good ones in Sheboygan at City Bakery.

You should be able to find them in Milwaukee, though a quick internet search didn't indicate where exactly
