damn, that brought back a memory. People travel from all over for a WH sub!

There is always Chef Vola, but that's very hard to get into. Need reservations months in advance.

Three places to eat in AC:

      1. White House subs for the tuna hoagie
      2. White House subs for sausage and pepper hoagie
      3. White House subs for turkey hoagie with mustard (no oil vinegar)

It is a crime to go to AC and not eat there.

Try The Palm in The Quarter at Tropicana. I've never had a bad meal there and the service is excellent.

Also The Ram's Head Inn a few miles outside A.C. on rt. 30 (White Horse Pike) in Absecon is lovely and worth a trip.

I third White House. I always get the regular (Italian) sub. Chef Vola's is one of my faves ever, but Patti is right. It can be difficult to get into. Definitely try, but make sure you have a back up plan.

Wawa has better hoagies than WH.

If your willing to venture from AC a bit, there is a great new restaurant in Ventnor called Gertrude's.
The former chef at Waters Edge in Cape May opened this place recently and its been quite a hit.
Very small, only seats about 30 people. Worth the short trip from AC. BYOB
