Has anyone visited Stevie's Creole Cafe in Encino recently? I wasn't able to find any recent reviews of this place. If you've been to this place recently, could you let me know how it is there? Either good or bad or any suggestions? Thank you!

More about the scene than the food. Make sure since you are over paying that their is live music that night.

I agree with Hershey. I went there for a concert (which was great!) with friends and we all ordered meals (two seafood, one chicken) and all agreed that it was over-priced and underseasoned!!

I went a month or two ago. This place is overpriced and the food is bad. We drove across town to try it, got charged a cover just to eat in the corner of the bar, didn't get water for 15 minutes, no food, not even bread, for 45 mins. after that. Then when we got it, it was thoroughly mediocre. Skip it.

It's been a while since we've been there. I do remember that the portions were enormous and the music kinda loud. Forget about being attended to. They waiters can't hear you over the din.

Underseasoned ? I would have welcomed that ! When I was last there, my entree was totally inedible because they seemed to dumped a box of salt in it. I sent it back and it was replaced by something equally as gross. The music was great though....
