In my opinion, one of the absolute best is Michael Ruhlman, co-author of The French Laundry Cookbook, The Elements of Cooking, Charcuterie, and may other greats. He's also a friend of Bourdain's and they share a similar edge and wit. I'm a huge fan, and he's also a really nice guy. www.ruhlman.com
