What to order at Daniel
We haven't dined from the current menu. However, Daniel always does a sensational job with any type of foie gras preparation. I love duck and squab, and the descriptions on the website of how they are currently being served sound seriously delicious. Of course, there is the famous signature: "Paupiette of Black Sea Bass in a Crisp Potato Shell." But, frankly, it doesnt really send me. When it comes to dessert, I would have a tough time deciding among all the wonderful possibilities; however, it being the season, and peaches being my favorite fruit, I'd go with that creation.
If the tasting menu appeals to you (not shown on the website) and fits your budget, that's always an excellent way to go.
As you said, when it comes to cuisine at Daniel, no matter what you choose, you can't go wrong.
