Please ignore the earlier multiple messages. My computer error. Trying to call the above to find out if they are open in August . Does anyone know and have a telephone number that works.Any other suggestions for a family lunch , informal relaxed but good bistro food.

Ginette Boyer is open every day, lunch and dinner and in the years past I think that included August. The number I have For Au Petit Tonneau is: 01 47 05 09 01 so you can double check.

A few others in the area that might meet your criteria are Thoumieux, Pasco and Fontaine de Mars.

Michelin says she will reopen on the 25th. Pasco is a great choice.

Thanks for the correction; we are never in Paris that time of year and I was basing my info on old conversations with Mme Boyer. Hopefully she is now taking time off to visit her little vacation house in Normandy.

It is closed all month; in that area, try Cafe Constant. Michelin & Zagat list the places that are open in August.
