Dinner for 6 Girls

Any suggestions for dinner for 6 girls out for a fun night of good food? Mid-County or South. Just looking for a place that will not rush us, have good drinks and food (no bar action....). Open as far as food. Maybe a place with a view as well?

six girls, fun, good food and drinks... Nessa in Port Chester. The cocktails, wine list, and extensive menu of delectable bites (bruschetta by the piece, some of the best octopus I have ever eaten, and excellent toasted panini). One word of caution: the pasta bowls are HUGE.

I made a reservation at Mima's in Irvington. Will advise. Also, eating at Half Moon tomorrw night. Very excited about both!

I went to Mima Vinoteca a few months back, was there with a bunch of ladies and we had a blast. Buon Appetito!

We did go to Mima's - overall very good experience. The only downside was we felt rushed by our waiter. Food was very good - five separate entrees- everyone was happy, waiter recommended good (special) wine and dessert was good. We all felt as if he was trying to turn over the table, however there were other tables available, so not sure why the rush? One of the owners came around several times to check on every table. We would all go back.

Glad you enjoyed the food- and I hope you didn't let them rush you out. I hate that!

What exactly do you mean by "no bar action"? I have several suggestions, most of which have active bars. Please elaborate

Oops - sorry about that- of course there can be a bar...I just did not want anyone to think since we will be 6 girls we were looking for a "bar scene" vs dinner options!

foodlover6, I guess X20 in Yonkers would be at the top of my list.

I agree. X20 is at the top of my list for just about anything. I have *never* been disappointed there. One of my favorite places.
