Great PYO berries - Monadnock Berries

This morning I spent 3 hours picking berries at Monadnock Berries in Troy, NH. Though, it's a trek at todays gas prices, I thought I'd let folks know. If you're headed up by Mt Monadnock, its worth a stop. I picked 12 lbs of red and black currants, 4 lbs of gooseberries and 8 lbs of raspberries. I left the blueberries for another day since their season is longer. The currants are wonderful and the raspberries - so good. The people are nice and the view of the mountain is one of the best. Wanted to share a favorite of mine !

    1. That's an awesome find - thanks! Maybe I will pair that with a hike and a stop at Kimball Farm in Jaffrey for a lobster roll!

Had that too ! It was pretty good, but the onion rings this time weren't worth it.

That's too bad about the rings - I always get the waffle fries.
