So anybody have any hot tips on where to buy crabs? A friend and I are having a crab fest this weekend and we are looking to buy a lot of crabs. Do we need to drive down to Galveston? Is there anywhere closer to town? Thoughts?

The best crabs are in Seabrook at any of the markets near the bridge. Also most Asian markets in west Houston have them, they tend to be small. I also saw them last weekend at Super H mart on Blalock, again small. but very fresh.

Also today at Airline Seafood on Richmond Ave they had some soft-shell crabs ready for cookin'.
