Dodgers in Phoenix

Me and my friends are going to be in Phoenix for the Dodgers this weekend? Anyone have any recommendations for a place that has good food and drinks at a reasonable price? We will most likely just be walking around.

I went to Majerle's last time when i was there for the NCAA tournament. Also is there a good bar to go to before the game?

We're in our 20's and shorts and sandals type of people.

While that thread has some good recs, a lot of them aren't really walking distance - unfortunately, most places that within walking distance of the ballpark aren't very exciting. Pizza Bianco is walkable, but as you've probably read, there could be a significant wait. There is a new British-style pub right next to PB called the Rose and Crown; I haven't been yet, but it looks interesting. Bar Smith is OK for a more upscale bar feel.

Other than those, you're stuck with Cooper'stown (Alice Cooper's place...decent beer selection but very mediocre food), Jackson's on 3rd (a huge bar/grill that's fairly crowded and unpleasant), and some other mediocre choices.

        Bar Smith
        130 E Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85004

        Rose & Crown
        628 E Adams St, Phoenix, AZ 85004

    2. Take a pedicab to the Roosevelt.

Roosevelt is a street about 3/4 of a mile north of the ballpark.

The Roosevelt is a pub located on 3rd St. between Garfield & McKinley, about 1 1/2 blocks south of Roosevelt St.

It would be a strenuous walk in 110-degree heat, making a pedicab a good option for getting to and from there.
