Good Fish Monger in Ft. Lauderdale

I'm tired of being right next to the ocean but getting mediocre seafood. I have been to the Fish Peddler on Commercial and have tried Whole foods, and found them to be ok. I'm looking for some place that is reasonably priced, does not have to be cheap, but is consistent and good quality.

  1. nothing really great in FTL. Boca has a good Fresh Market as does Pembroke Pines and Coral Springs. There is the Mediterranean Market on las olas, good but pricey. There is also Epicure in boca but, again pricey. GOOD SEAFOOD IS NOT CHEAP! A good idea is to go down to the local dock or pier and buy something direct from the fisherman. Doesn t get any fresher than that!!!!!!

    1. Check at ALL SEAS, they are located closer to coral springs on wiles rd
They are a seafood provider for many local south florida restaurants.

        1. Two Bills and Captain Mike's are both good sources. It's hard to get much fresher than Two Bills (see Frodnesor's link.)

If your willing to drive up to Deerfield Beach, Pop's Fish Market is always good and they generally have a good selection of whole fish, steaks, and fillets.

You could also check out the Florida Seafood web site ( Try the "Where can I buy Florida Seafood" link.
