Morton's $99 special

Morton's is running a special prix-fixe dinner for two for $99. Two single cut filets, 2 choice of seafood (scallops, crabcakes, etc.), 2 salads, one potato, one vegetable, 2 desserts.

I have never been to Morton's before, so I'm not sure what the prices would normally be. Does it sound like a good deal, or would we spend the same eating there a la carte?

  1. It would normally be about 200 +- for the same meal for two people.

You are still looking at the addition of tax and tip. If you only have water with your meal, you are still looking at a minumum of 125.
If you like beef, Morton's does a great job, and their service is great!!!!.

    I say go for it.

    1. You might check out Ruth's Chris Summer Celebration special menu, $89 for 2 people, including salad, entree, two side dishes, and a shared dessert. Although Morton's is very good, I much prefer Ruth's Chris.

Actually, RC is offering only one side choice.

Their website says to pick two side dishes to share.

We have done the Morton's $99 special between 3 of us. The portions are enormous...and they don't charge extra for the 3rd person....we probably made up the difference in cocktails anbd is a terrific summer promotion!
