ISO tahini cookie recipe

I sampled a cookie at the Union Square (NYC) Whole Foods recently and was suprised by just how tasty and well textured of a treat I'd found. I like playing with Tahini anyway so searched and searched for a recipe that seemed like it might match what I had, but I've been without luck.

If you don't know the cookie it has either raisins or currants (seem a bit too small for raisins) and I think oats but it might be another grain. The cookie is very moist and chewy (nothing cakey or fluffy about their version).

I would love any recipes that might be similar if not the Whole Foods recipe itself!

      I may try this one tonight with agave nectar or maple syrup instead of honey and Earth Balance instead of butter since we're vegan. And maybe 1/4 c xylitol instead of the brown sugar.

        Let the recipezaar ones cool on the baking sheet and they're less likely to crumble. I added raisins to half the batch for my husband. If/when I make them again, I'll probably add 1/2 tsp xanthan gum with my substitutions. Tasty! Figure they'll be an option for the relatives who are allergic to peanuts.
