I am preparing to move from my hometown of Mobile, Alabama to Kalamazoo, Michigan and was just curious about local favorites so I can make sure to visit them before leaving. The restaurants do not have to be in the Mobile city limits, but I would prefer places in Mobile county. Thanks!

I always recommend Camila Cafe in Daphne for fine dining. I love the scallops. My mother in law loves the sweet breads and my husband loves the filet. My favorite new place is Ashland Midtown Pub. The pizza is great. The breadsticks are so fine and the cesar salad is nice and strong.

! have to update my review of Ashland Midtown Pub. I do not recommend. I would be embarrased if someone went to this place under my recommendation.

Mars Hill Cafe - all profits are donated to charity and the food rocks. I personally make sure of that.
