my favorites are at izalco on roosevelt avenue in woodside. that could be the proximity factor for me....for others, it's right off the 7 train @ 61 st stop. there are, or were, a couple goodies on jamaica ave in jamaica (near 150 st), i tried rincon salvadoreno and liked it, but that was a while back.

Second the El Guanaco rec. Loved even the plain cheese version. Service is slow only because the food is made to order. Haven't tried anything but the pupusas, but everything looked delicious.
