Deep Frying Turkey Breast

I just saw a episode of diner's etc on Food Network. He was at Pannini Pete's in Alabama. Pete made a turkey breast that he seasoned rolled up in aluminum foil and then deep fried. I was wondering if anyone has tried this method. My husband has been doing deep fried turkeys for years, but has been able to do it lately because of major surgeries. This method looked easy and could be done in a smaller household fryer. Has anyone tried it, and how do you do it. It looked absolutely moist and delicious. TIA

    1. Here's a different recipe from the Food Network website for Turkey Fried Turkey Breast. It has positive reviews from several users.

      1. Hmm....just noticed your post is from 2008. Just saw the same show last night on Food Network. If you haven't already found this, do a search on Food Network for Pete's "Rubbed and Almost Fried" Turkey sandwich. Better late than never. (-:
