We've just moved to FiDi and are interested in venturing to Brooklyn for some meals. Could you guys recommend what's considered great places to eat French/Italian food?
French: Quercy on Court Street. Jolie Bistro on Atlantic Avenue. Patois on Smith Street. Italian: Second the suggestions already made and don't let the name Noodle Pudding fool you ... really good Italian food!
very easy trip from fidi to bk heights - try noodle pudding for italian and le petit marche for french, right by each other on henry street.
Al Di La on 5th Ave is considered one of Brooklyn's great Italian restaurants, but before "venturing to Brooklyn" make sure to get your shots.
