hidden italian BYOB?

redbecca Jul 13, 2008 01:10 PM

Someone told me of a good Italian BYOB restaurant hidden in the back of a convenience store somewhere in Boston. He couldn't remember the name of the place, but said it was very good Italian food and reasonably priced. Any ideas what he was talking about and where it might be?

I'm guessing it's Vinny's at Night in Somerville, but it's not BYOB.

They have a decently long wine list at that.

Vinny's at Night used to be BYOB several years back, but not anymore.

In Rockport, LoGrasso's is BYOB; a deli by day and transformed to a delicious Italian restaurant by night.

If it's BYO you're looking for Alia in Winthrop does it, and their food rivals anything in the North End.
