Hidden gems in Vulcan?

Hey,
Does anyone know of any hidden gems (roadside diners, restaurants, specialty homemade eats) in or near Vulcan? We're going there for a one-day road trip and I was curious if there was anything we should check out food-wise in that area.

mabye to be more helpfull,carsland has good chinese,ans mosslieh bar(or family resto,i cant tell) have good food

i used to comercial fish mcgregar lake ,and ashore lunch of batter fried whites or pike cooked by you will be the best meal there.the rest of vulcan,milo ,little bow,ect.is all bad microwayved pub grub.the pickled sausage is not to bad.
